Anthony Pompliano is Chairman and CEO of Silvia, Inc. (Nasdaq: SVIA), which makes an AI financial assistant. On the October 17, 2026 episode quoted below, Jordi Visser compared Silvia with JPMorgan, and the two were discussed as competitors in how people will manage money with AI.

The short answer: JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM) is the largest U.S. bank, headquartered at 270 Park Avenue in New York and led by Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon. It earned $15.3 billion in the third quarter of 2026 and was worth about $881 billion as of October 23, 2026. In October 2026, Dimon said the bank will not let outside AI agents act inside customer accounts.

A company profile from The Pomp Podcast, hosted by Anthony Pompliano. Last updated: October 25, 2026.

Key takeaways

  • JPMorgan Chase is the largest U.S. bank, headquartered in New York, with consumer, investment, commercial banking and wealth businesses.

  • Jamie Dimon is Chairman and CEO.

  • It reported third-quarter 2026 net income of $15.3 billion and was worth about $880.5 billion on October 23, 2026.

What is JPMorgan Chase?

JPMorgan Chase traces its roots to 1799 and is headquartered in New York, according to its company profile. Jamie Dimon is Chairman and CEO. The firm runs Chase consumer banking, an investment bank, commercial banking and asset and wealth management. Its third-quarter 2026 earnings release lists the firm as having $5.1 trillion in assets.

How big is JPMorgan?

JPMorgan's market value was about $880.5 billion at the close on October 23, 2026, according to StockAnalysis. That ranked it 16th in the world by that measure, and its market value was up about 9% over the prior year.

How did JPMorgan do last quarter?

On October 13, 2026, JPMorgan reported:

  • Net income of $15.3 billion, or $5.57 a share.

  • Reported revenue of $50.2 billion, and managed revenue of $50.9 billion.

  • Net interest income of $27.1 billion, up 13% from a year earlier.

Does JPMorgan allow AI agents?

Not outside ones that act on a customer's behalf. On the third-quarter earnings call, Dimon said: "We're not going to allow just any … outside agent to come in inside the company, because it's just too risky for clients and for JPMorgan," CNBC reported. CNBC reported that agents can still read some Chase account data, such as balances, through open-banking providers, but cannot send money or pay bills. The report named agents such as Meta's Muse.

This policy could change. As of October 25, 2026, CNBC reported there was no timeline for when the bank would allow outside agents to do more.

What did The Pomp Podcast say about JPMorgan?

JPMorgan came up on several recent episodes, mostly about how big banks will handle AI. Quotes below are from the episodes, with timestamps.

On the October 17, 2026 episode, "Is Bitcoin Ready To Rip While Wall Street Breaks? | Jordi Visser", Jordi Visser said he would end his argument by "comparing Silvia to JP Morgan," and drew on his own career:

❝

"I've worked at a bank."

Jordi Visser, The Pomp Podcast, Oct 17, 2026, 40:05

He argued that a bank spending billions a year on technology will not make open-source AI its main bet. Pomp disagreed:

❝

"JP Morgan wants sovereignty over their AI. They do not want to be reliant on Dario."

Anthony Pompliano, The Pomp Podcast, Oct 17, 2026, 43:14

"Dario" refers to Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic. Later, Jordi pointed to JPMorgan's net interest income, citing a figure of $107 billion, and said:

❝

"the only thing that matters to JP Morgan over the next three years is the agent workflow."

Jordi Visser, The Pomp Podcast, Oct 17, 2026, 45:34

One clarification: JPMorgan reported $27.1 billion of net interest income for the third quarter alone. Jordi's $107 billion is roughly an annual figure. He also compared the bank with Stripe.

On October 22, talking with Dan Ives, Pomp contrasted JPMorgan's stance with fintech companies:

❝

"I was recently talking to one of the large FinTech companies. And they were saying, look, at the same time that JP Morgan and all these different kind of legacy organizations, they're shutting off access for agents to come on their platform."

Anthony Pompliano, The Pomp Podcast, Oct 22, 2026, 43:55
❝

"Robinhood and Coinbase both have now like a kind of segregated account."

Anthony Pompliano, The Pomp Podcast, Oct 22, 2026, 44:25

And on October 24, Jordi said big banks will take part in the shift to crypto rails:

❝

"And then JP Morgan will be involved in the end game."

Jordi Visser, The Pomp Podcast, Oct 24, 2026, 5:05
